- Send a letter with your check payable to SNCF-VOYAGEURS to the address of one of the centers listed on the back of your payment slip, or to the address indicated on the reminder letter.
- Contact our collection centers by telephone on 09 48 220 000 (price of a local call) from 8.15 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, except public holidays.
- Pay by cash, credit card or cheque directly at the station with your payment slip.
Your payment deadlines
The infringement notice constitutes a proposal for a penal transaction, in accordance with articles 529 et seq. of the French Code of Criminal Procedure. By settling within the legal time limit of 3 months, you avoid being prosecuted.
After 3 months, the official report is forwarded to the public prosecutor. You will then be liable for an increased fixed fine of between €180 and €375.
The offence of habitual fraud is punishable by 6 months' imprisonment and a €7,500 fine. The offence is deemed to have been committed habitually if, over a period of 12 months or less, the person concerned has been convicted of more than 5 tickets for travelling without a ticket or with an invalid or incomplete ticket, which have not resulted in a settlement under article 529-3 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure. If you have given a false identity, the intentional declaration of a false address or identity is punishable by a fine of €3,750.
You have a complaint
Would you like to make a claim following a parking ticket?
For a period of 3 months after the date of the offence, you can :
- either lodge a complaint on the dedicated website on the link below
- or send a written protest to SNCF Voyageurs at the address of the collection center shown on the ticket payment slip or at the address shown on the reminder letter.
Once the protest has been forwarded to the public prosecutor (article 529-5 of the Code of Procedure), the latter will rule on the validity of your request. In the event of rejection and failure to settle within the allotted time, you will be subject to criminal prosecution.

The transaction involves the payment of a lump-sum indemnity and, where applicable, the sum due for transport, to the operator for whom the security service is provided.
This payment is made :
- Either, at the time of detection of the offence, into the hands of an agent mentioned in paragraph I, subparagraph 4° or 5° of article L.2241-1 of the French Transport Code;
- Or, within three months of the discovery of the offence, to the operator's department mentioned in the first paragraph of the proposed settlement; in the latter case, the cost of setting up the file is added to the sums due.
SNCF Voyageurs, in its capacity as data controller, implements automated processing of personal data for the purposes of management and centralized monitoring of statements of offences against the rail transport police and their recovery, detection of habitual offences and intentional declarations of false address/false identity, to manage communications to the judicial authorities in connection with the recovery of increased fixed fines, to increase the reliability of identification data via interconnection with third-party databases, to improve the recovery of fines, to enrich the data contained in the recovery information system by means of third-party databases, and to produce anonymous statistics.
This processing is necessary for the purposes of investigating, recording and prosecuting offences against the rail transport police.
The data collected is processed for a period limited to the payment of fines, and is kept only within the limits of the applicable statute of limitations.
In addition, it is only processed by authorized staff of the Unified Public Group establishments and the departments/service providers responsible for collection, and is not communicated to any third party with the exception of the judicial authorities.
In accordance with articles 104 et seq. of law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, all individuals have the right to access, rectify, delete and limit their personal data, and the right to define instructions concerning the treatment of their data after their death, as well as the right to object to the processing of their data, if necessary for legitimate reasons.
