    Wifi connection

On board, accessing the Internet on iOS and Android is simple:

    On computer:

    • Enable wifi in your settings or parameters.
    • Select the "_SNCF_WIFI_INOUI" network.
    • Validate the General Terms and Conditions by clicking on "Connect me".
    • You can also enter the url manually https://wifi.sncf in your browser to finalize your connection to the TGV INOUI Portal.

    On IOS:

    • Enable wifi in your settings or parameters.
    • Select the networks "_SNCF_WIFI_INOUI".
    • Click on "Connect me".
    • You will be redirected to the TGV INOUI Portal to finalize your connection, by clicking on "Connect to internet". If this is not the case, enter the url manually https://wifi.sncf in your browser to finalize your connection to the TGV INOUI Portal.

    On Android:

    • Enable wifi in your settings or parameters.
    • Select the "_SNCF_WIFI_INOUI" network.
    • Validate the General Terms of Use by clicking on "Connect me".
    • Copy the link and access the Internet.
    • You can also manually enter the url https://wifi.sncf into your browser to finalize your connection to the TGV INOUI Portal.

The wifi service may be disrupted due to communication problems with the infrastructure. As this may be a one-off problem, please try again a little later.

We recommend one of these 3 solutions:

    Open wifi.sncf in your browser:

    • Copy the following address: https://wifi.sncf.
    • Open your browser (we recommend Chrome).
    • Paste the link.
    • Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking on "Connect to internet".

    Forget the network then reconnect:

    • Go to your wifi settings.
    • Click on "Forget the network".
    • Re-select the "_SNCF_WIFI_INOUI" network again.
    • Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking on "Connect to internet".

    Disable your VPN:

Some VPNs prevent access to the on-board wifi connection interface, so we recommend you disable it.

A working wifi connection allows you to browse the sites of your choice (on board wifi is shared, avoid streaming and downloading).

The following message will then be displayed on the home page "You are not connected to wifi".

    • For computer and Android: In case you're not connected, enter the url https://wifi.sncf. A message will then be displayed on the INOUI TGV Portal home page inviting you to accept the general conditions of use. Click on "Connect to internet" to finalize your connection.
    • For IOS: In case you are not connected, enter the url https://wifi.sncf. A pop-in will appear on the INOUI TGV Portal homepage inviting you to click on "Connect to internet" to finalize your connection.

    Three cases may occur:

The WIFI connection is very weak

This is likely to be a temporary reduction in the reception signal. Please reconnect within a few minutes.

    Internet connection is very weak

It is likely that your TGV is passing through an area of low coverage or high internet usage by other customers on board. The TGV INOUI portal remains available to consult multimedia content without requiring internet access.

If the phenomenon persists, it's probably a technical problem.

On this subject, you can consult our answer to the question "I'm having trouble connecting, what can I do about it?"

    .

Onboard wifi is available on all TGV INOUI trains equipped with wifi. Wifi availability depends on operator coverage.

Opening the upstream VPN may, depending on the device, block the opening of the internet connection or access to the INOUI TGV Portal.
In this case, disconnect your VPN in order to use the service.

    Open wifi.sncf in your browser:

    • copy the following address: https://wifi.sncf
    • open your browser (we recommend Chrome)
    • paste the link
    • accept the Terms of Use

If this doesn't work try with another device.

If the phenomenon persists, it's probably a technical problem (see the answers to the question "I'm having trouble connecting, how can I fix it?").

There may be several reasons for these difficulties:

    • either you are passing through an area of poor coverage
    • or your maximum throughput capacity has been reached, linked in particular to a bottleneck in the number of travellers connected
    • or it is linked to the equipment used.

Try reconnecting later to improve your access.

The wifi service may be disrupted due to communication problems with the infrastructure. As this may be a one-off problem, please try again a little later and refresh the page.

Connection to the INOUI TGV Portal

This is a known problem on some Android devices. To resolve it, we invite you to enter the following address in your browser: https://wifi.sncf, which will force the access page.
Then don't forget to check the validation of the GTU (general terms of use) in order to benefit from the service.

A message may appear when you wish to access the INOUI TGV Portal site on your first visit.
To access the site, simply click on the "Continue" button and the site will open. Otherwise, open your browser and enter the following url: https://wifi.sncf

There may be several technical reasons for this access problem:

    • the configuration of your device
    • a problem with an on-board software service

Try reconnecting to WIFI or checking that your VPN is properly disconnected (see answers to the question "I'm having trouble connecting, how can I fix it?").

    • Either the message does not apply and you are connected to the Internet. You can check by consulting a web page.
    • Or the wifi service on board your TGV is temporarily disrupted. You can try again later.

Access to TGV INOUI Portal content

For a better experience, we recommend using the Chrome or Safari browser. This will enable you to enjoy the content available on the TGV INOUI Portal with complete peace of mind.

When you're watching a film for the 1rst time on the INOUI TGV Portal, it may happen that a black screen appears. Don't panic, this could mean:

    • either it's only paused, so just press the "arrow" launch button on the bottom left and you'll be able to watch your film,
    • or it can't launch, so just press the "Refresh this page" button or icon in your browser's address bar and you'll be able to watch your film.

On the TGV INOUI Portal, discover a range of services and content to enrich your journey:

    • real-time information on your journey (real-time timetables, train speed, destination station information, arrival platform, connections table...),
    • an interactive map detailing your train's route, changes in train speed, the main sites crossed,
    • order your meal online,
    • the Bot TGV INOUI,

And other on-board services...Discover also our free offer of content and entertainment: digital press, films, games, podcasts, documentaries, cartoons and children's content (meditations, podcasts, stories to read).

In rare cases, passenger information may not have been updated before the train's departure. If you need information about your journey, you can consult the on-board screens, the sncf.com website or contact your conductor.

When playing content (film, documentary, cartoon...), you have the option of changing the audio language as well as the subtitles by clicking on the first pictogram at the top right of the screen.

    .

On trains other than TGV INOUI

This is possible on certain lines.

Wifi is not yet deployed on our TER and Transilien trains.

    It's possible, but it's a paid option.

Activate the wifi function on your terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone) and select the network entitled "SNCF gare-gratuit". After opening your Internet browser, you will be automatically directed to the access portal. You can connect to the wifi via email or Facebook connect.

By definition, wifi Internet access points emit waves. Electromagnetic field measurements were carried out on September 15 and 16, 2016 inside a TGV train equipped with wifi access points and antennas in emission. The report, produced by an SNCF laboratory accredited by COFRAC (Comité Français d'Accréditation) for this type of measurement, declares compliance of the electromagnetic field exposure level in the 100 kHz to 6 GHz band with decree n°2002-775. Decree n°2002-775 sets the threshold limits for public exposure to electromagnetic waves authorized in France.
