    Providing everyday transportation

    Every day, we transport 5 million people moving around their region to get to work, school or university, do their administrative paperwork or simply a leisure outing.

    We carry out this mission on behalf of transport organizing authorities:

    - with TER in 11 metropolitan regions;

    - with Transilien in Île-de-France.

    Travel all over France

    Our TGV and "classic" trains criss-cross France, offering travelers the best green solutions for their leisure or business trips.

    With INTERCITÉS trains, under contract with the French government, we serve 150 destinations on nine daytime lines and three night-time lines; this represents almost 20 million journeys a year. These agreements, in particular by enabling the revival of night trains, also meet the environmental expectations of the French.

    Our INOUI TGVs serve over 200 destinations in France and shorten distances! Since the first TGV in 1981, 3 billion passengers have traveled on high-speed rails.

    Putting Europe on the train

    As a long-standing partner of other European operators, including SNCB (Belgium), DB (Germany), Trenitalia (Italy), Renfe (Spain) or CFL (Luxembourg), we offer direct service from France to 30 European destinations.

    We are also the main shareholder in Eurostar (high-speed trains between the continent and Great Britain, high-speed trains between France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany), as well as TGV Lyria, which links France and Switzerland.

    Offering end-to-end travel solutions

    Because the journey doesn't end once you've arrived at the station, we create complete offers with our partners - car rental companies, VTCs and other mobility players - that encompass every stage of the journey, from home to destination.

    Rail is by far the least polluting mode of transport

    Travelling by train in France rather than by car or plane means reducing your greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by an average of 90%. (Source: ADEME carbon base and Carbone 4 analysis)

    Trains designed to carry more people

    Peak times, major departures, higher-capacity trains allow more passengers to board when they need to travel. For over 30 years, double-decker trains have been running on Paris region and regional lines, as well as on high-speed lines.

    In partnership with equipment suppliers and manufacturers, or transport organizing authorities, our industrial department participates in the design of new equipment and constantly innovates to meet our customers' current and future needs. For example, the modular, eco-designed TGV M will increase the space available on board by 20%, enabling 740 passengers to travel instead of 634, without any loss of comfort.

    The TGV M will be designed to meet the needs of today's and tomorrow's passengers.
