As data controller, SNCF Voyageurs processes personal data for the purposes of:

• creating a travel proposal and sending it to the email address you provide
• responding to requests for quotes
• contacting you by telephone if we need additional information and
• sending you a survey on how satisfied you are with the organization and quality of your Special Train event and how well the offer met your needs

The data collected are your first and last names and your telephone number, which we use only if we need to call you for additional information. 

When we process personal data to manage travel proposals, the legal basis for the processing is consent, which the data subject formally grants by ticking a box included in the form. 

The legal basis for the satisfaction survey is the data controller’s legitimate interest, i.e., to improve customer service and the proposals we may submit to customers. The survey is sent only to customers who request a quote and do not tick the box declining to receive the survey. Personal data are retained for 60 days in the sncf.com database and up to 3 years in the group’s customer database.

The personal data recipients are: external communications professionals, the group agent, our TGV passenger chartering unit, our Intercités chartering and services centre, sncf-voyageurs.com (the site where the form is published) and SNCF Connect & Tech (which hosts the site and the sncf-voyageurs.com database). 

At any time, you may exercise your right to access and/or rectify your data, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to deletion, the right to object to your personal data, and the right to issue directives regarding the retention, erasure, and communication of personal data after your death, by contacting our data protection officer by email at [email protected] or by postal mail at: SNCF Voyageurs – Équipe Protection des Données – 2 place de La Défense – 92400 – France.  If you wish to make a claim, please contact our data protection officer at one of these addresses. You also have the right to submit a claim to CNIL, the French data control authority.
