The operating agreement for the Trains trains d'équilibre des s (TET) 2022-2031, supported by the State (as the organizing authority for the TETs) and SNCF Voyageurs, reflects the ambition shared by our Group and the Ministry of Transport to develop day and night rail services to improve access to the regions while preserving the environment.
The aim of the agreement is to increase the number of passengers carried by TETs by around 20% over the next ten years.
This document constitutes the contractual framework within which INTERCITÉS trains are operated on the TET network, with an average of 90 trains per day, carrying almost 9 million passengers every year. The network currently comprises the following lines, which may be upgraded by amendment:
- 3 main lines (Paris- - Limoges - Toulouse, Paris - Clermont-Ferrand and Bordeaux - Marseille);
- 4 regional development lines (Nantes - Lyon, Nantes - Bordeaux, Toulouse - Hendaye and Clermont-Ferrand - Béziers);
- 3 night routes (Paris- - Briançon - Nice,« L'Occitan » : Paris- - Toulouse- - Rodez - Albi,« Le Pyrénéen » : Paris- - Lourdes - Latour-de-Carol - Cerbère).
The text also provides for a profit-sharing mechanism directly indexed to passenger satisfaction and service quality (punctuality, responsiveness and reliability of passenger information, particularly in the event of disruption).
Finally,La the agreement details, enfin, a progressive timetable for opening up TET lines to competition in batches, in line with the 2018 rail law.
