Discounts and additional offers
- -30% on NO FLEX and STANDARD fares on the TGV France-Brussels range for trains with compulsory reservation;
- -30% to Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Luxembourg;
- from -25% to -50% on TER trains in certain regions.
For certain journeys connecting with a TER, for the Carte Avantage reduction to apply, the outward and return journeys must be perfectly symmetrical (Outward journey: TER + TGV and Return journey: TGV + TER on the same origin - destination).

A dematerialized Carte Avantage Senior? How does it work?
There are 3 ways to dematerialize your Carte Avantage. Simply go to :
- My TGV INOUI space
- The SNCF Connect application
- The applications of certain approved travel agencies
Once your card is dematerialized, it's directly accessible on your smartphone and easier to use. Enjoy a lighter journey, with no risk of forgetting (all your travel documents, ticket and card, are in the same place). All you have to do at check-in is present the QR code on your card. Simple and efficient!
During your journey, you may be asked by the conductor to show an official identity document.
Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from the date of subscription to exercise your right of withdrawal.
1/ Amortization starting from the third journey (single journey from an initial destination to a final destination), based on reductions applied to Carte Avantage holders (Jeune, Adulte or Senior) and potential accompanying persons (in proportion to accompanied journeys), in 1st and 2ndclass, on all TGV INOUI and INTERCITÉS destinations combined (excluding TER), between 01/01/2022 and 05/31/2022.
The Carte Avantage Senior 60+ card entitles the holder to a 30% discount.
Offer reserved for Carte Avantage holders. Discount calculated, excluding additional paid services, on the Prem's, 2nd, 1stand Full Fare 2ndand 1stfor trains with compulsory reservation (TGV INOUI and INTERCITÉS, excluding OUIGO) and on the "Normal" Fare for INTERCITÉS trains without compulsory reservation for tickets valid for 7 days. Discounts applicable within France.
The capped prices on TGV INOUI and INTERCITES routes (in France, second class, daytime and/or night-time seating), available with the Carte Avantage, were guaranteed until 31/08/2024. However, these prices remain in force for the time being. Calculated on the basis of the average time observed on a journey without connection, these prices are as follows:
- 49€ INCL. VAT: Maximum guaranteed ticket price for a journey of less than 1H30,
- 69€ INCL. TAX: Maximum guaranteed ticket price for a journey between 1H30 and 3H,
- 89€ INC: Maximum guaranteed price of a ticket for a journey of more than 3 hours.
The price of tickets booked with the benefit of the cap is guaranteed until the departure of the train, provided that the initial booking is not modified by the customer.
The Carte Avantage is valid for travel in France and Europe.
Offer reserved for Carte Avantage cardholders. Discount calculated, excluding additional paid services, on the 2ndor 1stfare of the day on TGV INOUI trains to Luxembourg, Freiburg im Breisgau, on TGV INOUI France - Spain trains and on TGV INOUI and ICE trains operated by DB-SNCF in cooperation; on the Seconda or Prima (2ndor 1st) fare of the day on TGV France - Italy trains; on the Standard or Standard 1refare on TGV Lyria trains.
The card entitles accompanying children to a 60% discount.
Offer reserved for up to 3 accompanying children aged 4 to 11 inclusive if the ticket is purchased at the same time as the Carte Avantage holder's ticket. Discount calculated, excluding additional paid services, on the Prem's, 2nd, 1stand Full Fare 2ndand 1stfares for trains with compulsory reservation (TGV INOUI and INTERCITÉS, excluding OUIGO), or on the "Normal" fare for INTERCITÉS trains without compulsory reservation for tickets valid for 7 days. Discounts applicable throughout France.
The card entitles you to a 15% discount on all services, including Junior and compagnie.

Conditions for exchanging and refunding a ticket with the Carte Avantage on TGV INOUI and INTERCITÉS trains with compulsory reservation.
Exchange and refund service offered free of charge up to and including 7 days before departure.
From 6 days before departure, a deduction of €19 per person and per journey applies on TGV INOUI and 40% of the ticket price with a maximum deduction of €15 on INTERCITÉS trains with compulsory reservation. 30 minutes before departure and up to departure, exchange possible (1 maximum) with the same deduction as above.
Tickets exchanged within this period are non-refundable. The deduction is applied only once, for journeys including one or more connections. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable after the train has departed, unless they have been made available prior to departure. In the case of round-trip tickets, once the outward journey has been used up and/or spent, the return journey is no longer cancelable or refundable.
Cancellation conditions
In accordance with the legal provisions in force, you have a period of 14 days from the date of purchase to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to give any reason or pay any penalty.
