    On board a TGV INOUI train, you must be able to carry all your luggage at once. In practice, this amounts to two large pieces of luggage and one piece of hand luggage. We explain (video in French).

    How to travel with your luggage on TER trains

    There are no maximum dimensions for luggage on our TER trains. Nevertheless, they must be able to be handled by yourself and fit into the spaces provided in our regional trains. In addition, your personal belongings must in no way present a danger to other passengers or our staff on board or in the station.

    On board most TER trains, your bicycle travels free of charge, suspended or placed in a space provided for this purpose. These spaces are accessible subject to availability, often without reservation. However, exceptions exist for certain regions with their own reservation procedures.

    How to travel with your baggage on SNCF group trains to Europe

    The rules on baggage on board TGV INOUI trains in France also apply to TGV INOUI trains to and from Spain, Belgium, Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany) and Luxembourg.

     

    However, specific rules apply to baggage on board TGV INOUI trains to and from Italy, TGV INOUI and ICE trains to and from Germany with DB SNCF Voyageurs in cooperation (Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich), as well as TGV Lyria trains (Switzerland) and Eurostar trains.
