Information accessible to all, on all trains

Platform number, any delays, train changes or announcements made by the conductor, etc.; with “Onboard Announcement”, deaf or hearing-impaired passengers can now be sure of having access to all the information regarding their train, even in trains not equipped with a screen.

Implemented by our Accessibility Department and TGV-INTERCITÉS, this feature is part of the ongoing development of our Group's accessibility policy.

Audio announcements on your trains relayed to your smartphone

The “Onboard Announcement” tool can be accessed free of charge by downloading the “SNCF Connect” mobile application.

Once the application is active, our visual assistant reproduces all the announcements made on board the train on your smartphone screen. In particular, it relays information about platform numbers, delays, approaching stations and announcements made by the conductor.

It's very simple to activate “Onboard Announcements”: from your “SNCF Connect” application, go to the “Account” tab, then tick the “Onboard announcements” box.

This service is available on board TGV INOUI, OUIGO, INTERCITÉS and TER trains.

To make use of it, all you have to do is:

    • to have bought your ticket on “SNCF Connect”
    • to import your ticket into the application
Download the Mon Assistant Visuel user guide (french)

Today, tens of thousands of customers benefit from this service every day.
