The suggested itineraries take into account the information entered by the user: the departure station, the arrival station and the departure or arrival time.
Once these criteria have been entered, the route search results are ranked, by default, according to the user's preferred departure or arrival time.
When two results have the same departure or arrival time, the route with the shortest journey time will be given priority.
To help users in their search, a recommended route is suggested first. This takes into account the departure or arrival time closest to the time indicated by the user.
When several results can meet the user's request, the recommended route takes into account (in order of priority) the journey time, the minimum number of connections and the minimum walking time.
In addition to the recommended route, the fastest route, the route with the fewest connections or the route with the shortest walking time may also be highlighted.
In the absence of these first preferred routes, the following routes will appear in chronological or antechronological order.
If the user selects ‘See more results’, the next results will no longer offer preferred routes. However, the preferred routes initially suggested remain displayed.
These suggestions do not take into account the user's specific profile.
