Being a person with reduced mobility does not entitle you to special discounts. However, you can take advantage of one of the many SNCF Voyageurs offers (Avantage card, Liberté card, MAX JEUNE, MAX Actif, etc.) and benefit from the fare offer best suited to your travel profile.

If you have a disability card or a french inclusive mobility card (Carte de Mobilité Inclusion), you don't benefit from any special discounts because of your disability. You can choose the fare that best suits your situation, subject to availability at the time of purchase. On the other hand, depending on the indication on your disability card or on your mobility-inclusion card, your companion may benefit from a GUIDE fare at a certain reduction rate on the price of his or her ticket. Find out more in the "Priority and discounts" section.

Finally, to qualify for a discount, the guide must travel with the disabled person, on the same domestic/national route and in the same class, and be over 12 years of age.

Wheelchair users do not benefit from any special discount, but when the dedicated space is located in first class, the customer and any accompanying person pay the price of a second-class ticket. The disabled person's companion may benefit from a 50% discount or free travel (excluding booking fees), depending on the indication on the disabled person's disability card.

Those accompanying the wheelchair user (up to 3 people) can benefit from a 30% reduction on the Loisirs fare of the day if they travel in the same car as the wheelchair user (TGV INOUI ticket in 1st class for travel within France).

The guide fare may not apply to the whole of a France-foreign journey, depending on the trains used. To find out, call Accès Plus on 36 35 and press #45, or say "service" and then "Accès Plus" (free service + call charge).

To accompany a disabled person and benefit from the "guide" fare, you must be over 12 years old on TGV and INTERCITÉS trains, and 18 years old on OUIGO trains.

Two people holding a disability card cannot accompany each other. A wheelchair user may not accompany another wheelchair user.

Discounts depend on your disability card. You can get a 50% discount on your ticket if the card has only one blue bar, and a 75% discount if the card has one red bar, two red bars or two blue bars.

If you hold an RPG card with a double blue bar or double red bar, you can pass on the "RPG Guide" fare to a single passenger over the age of 12 who accompanies and assists you on the same journey and in the same class.
